Fall Reading Corner for Baby
We just got E’s little reading corner all set up and ready for fall! I’m so excited to start festive traditions with some of these books. Fall has always been my favorite season.
Flying with Baby
I’ve linked everything below that we brought on the plane with us for baby. The best advice I’ve seen is to make sure to bring NEW toys and teethers. This totally worked for us and he was mesmerized by them the entire time. I think the most important thing was to bring the toy savers — it kept everything clean and off the floor even through turbulence!
Eleven Months Old
Our little guy is 11 months old! The past 11 months have absolutely flown by. I love how much he wants to play and have fun. He loves being held upside down and playing rough. I can’t get enough of his cute little curls.
Ten Months Old
Our handsome little man is ten months old! He is working on his second molar, is starting to stand and pull himself up and his hair is getting the cutest little curls. He has also been in 4 states now and did an amazing job on our half-cross-country road trip. We are obsessed with him and his little personality that’s shining through more and more each day.
Nine Months Old
Our big nine month old!! He is crawling all over and starting to try to stand. He loves sweet potatoes, the five little ducks song and being pushed in his stroller (with his little legs kicked up relaxing). I can’t believe how fast time is flying and I love his little personality.
Eight Months Old
Our sweet boy is eight months old now! He is crawling and fell asleep on his own (while playing with his toys) for the first time. He enjoys the swing at the park, blowing raspberries and thinks throwing things is hilarious.
Seven Months Old
Our little love is 7 months old now!! ♥️
E currently has seven teeth, is clingy with mama, thinks dad is the most hilarious person ever and is starting to crawl. He loves worship music, shaking all of his toys like a rattle and kicking his wild little legs. He is our little sunshine ☀️
Six Months Old
Elijah is halfway to one! Our big six month old. It’s crazy how fast time has flown and how big he is already. He has the strongest little legs, loves little silly noises and clapping, and has now moved twice! (😮💨) These little monthly photos are getting more difficult the more donuts we need and the wigglier he gets haha!
Five Months Old
E is 5 months old now! He has his 2 bottom teeth, can almost sit up on his own, loves kicking his strong little legs and playing with his toys. He continues to bring so much joy to our every day.
Four Months Old
Our little guy is 4 months old! He has his first tooth (!!!), loves playing with balloons, and smiles all day at mom and dad now. These have been the best 4 months of my entire life and I’m obsessed with him and our little family 🫶🏼
Baby’s 1st Boo Basket
Here’s what I put in my three month old son’s first Boo Basket. I’ve always dreamt of this season of life and I’m so thankful to be currently living it out. And yes I know he won’t remember this yet but I will 😊
Postpartum Must-Haves
I had a rougher time postpartum physically than I expected and hoped for and E had colic pretty bad the first few months (he’s finally doing better, praise God!). Here are things that we got to help during that time and what I actually used for myself and will use again next time.
Must-Haves for Mama:
I had a whole stock of different brands of sprays, ointments, pads, and the Frida Mom Recovery Kit — the above are all that I used and recommend. Everything else was too complicated and too much of a pain in for me to use while I was weak and in pain.
Must-Haves for Baby:
We bought some of these items out of desperation trying to find something to soothe E while his colic was at it’s worst those first weeks and what I’m sharing below is what seemed to help most and worked for us. It was a hard time... for anyone looking for reassurance — just know it’ll pass even though it doesn’t feel like it will.
Another thing that really helped us get through the hard first few months was making sure to set aside time to spend with the Lord. Whether that meant going outside for a few minutes to pray, reading the Bible, listening to worship music or just reading the few verses about being awake at night that I wrote and put on our bathroom mirror to see easily while awake changing diapers, etc.
Three Months Old
our little bat is three months old! 🫶🏽
he is already wearing six month clothes, getting more hair by the day, loves his toy ball and to chat with mom & dad, and still has a very serious demeanor (haha!) — i am obsessed with him and love seeing his little personality start to pop through 🖤

I’m on a budget this year but had to grab a few fall / Halloween decor items. I’m trying to find the time and hoping to decorate before October which is late for me (haha!). Links to all items are below ◡̈
Bits + Pieces of Summer
Sweet moments like E meeting great grandma and going to the beach for the first time. And some sweet treats Zack surprised me with that I want to remember.
One Month Old
Our sweet boy is one month old today! It has been one of the hardest and most joy-filled months of my life. We are absolutely obsessed with him and so thankful.
